1. Old traces won't follow you to the new platform

Every tweet and photo in your X data archive won't automatically appear on new platforms. But they still exist on the internet — indexed by search engines, saved as screenshots, scraped by third-party sites.

When you decide to leave a platform, your mindset is clearest. It's the best moment to check "what have I posted" — not out of guilt, but out of reflection.
